Bahrain Sets Renewable Energy Target of 10%

Bahrain Refinery to Expand

Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the oil minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain said that Bahrain Petroleum Co (Bapco), Bahrain’s state-owned company, and the Frances TechnipFMC will sign a $4.2 billion contract for the expansion of the refinery, expected to commence within 50 months.  To read more click here.  

Bahrain Government Achieves 91% of 2017 Objectives

Bahrain’s National eGovernment Strategy achieved 91% of it’s 2017 objectives, which included reaching more than a million online transactions across various online channels, as well as receiving more than BHD74 million in payments for Electricity & Water, General Directorate of Traffic, Sijilat, University of Bahrain and Identity Card services.   To read more click here.

Gulf Air starts Bahrain tourist visa service

Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has introduced a ‘Bahrain tourist visa service exclusively for passengers flying across its global network. Travelers with return Gulf Air tickets can now apply for a visa to Bahrain online via: visa.gulfair.com or by visiting their local Gulf Air sales office.  To read more click here
