Bahrain to host the next Arab space co-opperation meeting.

The meeting, which is usually hosted in the UAE, will be hosted in Bahrain alongside the Bahrain International Air show on 8 November this year. Formed in 2019 by the UAE Space Agency, the group’s purpose is to the share information and advice amongst its members including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Iraq and Mauritania. Bahrain has had it’s own involvement in space activities such as contributing to the design and build of the UAE’s DhabiSat satellite and the launching of the UAE-Bahraini satellite, Light-1.
