Two new natural gas discoveries in Bahrain
The discoveries were announced by Bahrain’s Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding) and are located under the Khuf and Onaiza reservoirs. The undisclosed estimated reserves have been described as encouraging in terms of quantity and production opportunities. To read more click here.
Tenders for the construction of the Bahrain Metro network will be launched early 2023.
In May 2022, a total of 11 global infrastructure giants had prequalified for Phase One which included both local and international specialist companies. The length of phase 1 is 29km and includes 20 stations and two lines. The project will be implemented in partnership with the private sector. To read more click here.
