Since acquisition of the plant from a previous owner in 2018, Arla Foods is now operating at full capacity producing Puck and Kraft products. Yearly production has increased from 20,000 tonnes to 80,000 tones with 95% of its volumes distributed across the MENA region. Arla has also invested in green energy investing $1.3 million in solar energy by adding 8,000m2 of solar cells producing 20% of their yearly energy needs. To read more click here.
