6 Major Infrastructure Tenders Awarded

The Assistant Under-Secretary for Service, of the Municipality and Urban Planning Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Al Khayyat revealed that the ministry awarded six tenders worth BD2,893,470.  In addition the ministry invited bids for 11 roads and sanitary and construction tenders worth BD4,020,108 during April of this year. GPIC profit increases to $190.2m due to record levels of production

GPIC (Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company), based in Bahrain has seen a 2.25% increase in the companies net profit compared with 2013.   The company uses natural gas to produce ammonia, urea and methanol and produced 400,000 more tonnes in 2014 than in 2013 directly leading to the increase in profits.
