A tender has been floated for the construction of a new seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant by Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). The plant is due to take shape on Hawar Island off the southeastern coast of the Kingdom. The deadline for sending the tenders has been set at 23 June. To read more click here.
