Bahrain’s national draft budget for 2021-22 covers 64 new major projects.

BD1.3 billion has been allocated to the new projects with an additional special budget of BD 44 million to be used for municipal projects. The funds will be directed at housing, educational and infrastructure projects with housing accounting for the biggest chunk. The majority of the funding will come from the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), with the remaining from Bahrain’s national reserves. To read more click here.
