Construction begins on the the United States Trade Zone (USTZ).

Construction has begun on the United States Trade Zone (USTZ) located at Salman Industrial City and is expected to be operational by 2025. The trade zone will be a regional centre for trade for American companies operating in Bahrain and will include manufacturing, logistics and distribution activities. The MoU for the establishment of the zone was signed in 2021 and will play a big part in supporting the bilateral trade exchanges between the two countries. To read more click here.
