Direct flights to China from Bahrain remains a priority for Gulf Air.

Speaking at the Arabian Travel Market 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism for the Kingdom of Bahrain and Chairman of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, said that direct flights between Bahrain and China was set to begin at the end of 2019 but were put on hold due to the pandemic.
