Health e-passport introduced for travel between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence and Bahrain’s Information and e-Government Authority have introduced a health e-passport which integrates the information contained in Saudi’s Tawakkalna app and Bahrain’s BeAware app. Designed to facilitate the movement of citizens and residents travelling on King Fahd Causeway, the e-passport will link with border systems and will verify the traveller’s health eligibility in relation to Covid-19 protocols.
