Health passport to streamline traffic via the King Fahd Causeway.

A health passport will be launched to link the information contained on Bahrain’s BeAware app and Saudi’s ‘Tawakkalna’ app with the two kingdom’s main passport systems to ensure those travelling meet the current Covid-19 health rules. This will speed up border formalities reducing delays for those using the causeway between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The apps have become an important tool in managing Covid-19 related requirements from booking PCR tests and receiving results to booking vaccinations and storing vaccination ecertificates.
