Aluminium Bahrain to reduce it’s carbon footprint using decarbonisation technology.

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has signed an MOU with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA (MHI EMEA) to explore opportunities to reduce Alba’s carbon footprint. It will look at technologies developed by MHI EMEA to capture CO2 from flue gas to reduce Alba’s plant emissions for decarbonisation. This will greatly contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s Net Zero and Renewable Energy Targets that was recently announced by Bahrain’s Prime Minister.
