23,000 Bahraini citizens will benefit from the Government’s extended 50% salary subsidy.
The Bahraini Government has decided to extend it’s wage subsidy for a number of its citizens for another three months starting from October 2020. It will benefit 23,000 Bahrainis and 4,000 adversely affected establishments from COVID-19. Nurseries, taxi drivers, public transport drivers and driving instructors are also included. COVID-19 entry procedures into Bahrain via the Saudi Causeway announced.
Specific entry procedures into Bahrain have been announced for those arriving from Saudi Arabia via the King Fahd Causeway which was partly reopened in late July. The procedures include PCR testing, downloading the ‘BeAware Bahrain’ app and self-isolation rules. To read more click here.
