Bahrain awards tenders worth $2.3bn
Bahrain has seen an increase of 140% of awarded tenders from 2003 to 2013. In 2013, 2,028 tenders worth BD900 million ($2.3 billion) were awarded compared to 1,342 tenders worth BD367 million in 2003. To read more click here.
Major medical city to be built in Bahrain
A multimillion-dinar medical city is set to be built in Bahrain’s Southern Governorate, on donated land from His Majesty King Hamad.
